DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED AFTER CONCERN BY OTHER MOTORIST ON HWY. 169

GRAVENHURST — A Parry Sound woman faces an impaired driving charge after being stopped here yesterday.

Police her with impaired driving after responding to a concern from another motorist.

They say that on Thursday Nov. 28, at 4:40 p.m., officers responded to a concern from a member of the public about a possibly impaired driver on Muskoka Road 169 in Muskoka Lakes Township, travelling toward Gravenhurst.

They located the vehicle on James Street in Gravenhurst and conducted a traffic stop.

As a result of their investigation, police charged 30-year-old Aysha Tryon with Impaired Operation CC 320.14(1)(a) and Over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b).

Tryon is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Dec. 17, 2024.

A complaint yesterday afternoon about a driver headed from Muskoka Lakes in to Gravenhurst has led to an impaired charge against Aysha Tryon, 30, of Parry Sound.
