BINGO DABBERS DON’T DABBLE IN SMALL CHANGE WEDNESDAY NIGHTS, THEY GO FOR THE BIG MONEY GAMES WITH ROTARY

GRAVENHURST — Bingo dabbers love their Rotary Club.

And they’re glad the service club was back with their Wednesday.

Last week nine people were particularly happy the first week back after a summer hiatus.

They were recipients of $2,000 in prize money — two of them splitting the big final game prize of $1,000.

Not a bad return for a $10 five-game card investment.

And the club also came away a winner taking in more money than they handed out.

However, the real winner was the community, which benefits from the charitable proceeds.

But if you still want the best odds in town … with a few less players these initial weeks the odds are greater than normal on winning.

Pick up your cards at participating grocery and variety stores.

And it’s game on again Wednesday Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. on YourTV Cable 10 Cogeco.

… and sure enough caller Dave Reid has it with number 4 coming up on the monitor at YourTV and on your cable TV at home
Frosty Pint was one of a handful of venues welcoming back players. Among other locations are the Bracebridge legion and Sawdust City Brewery in Gravenhurst.
