HUNTSVILLE GIRL, 14, MISSING TWO WEEKS FOUND SAFELY, SAY POLICE FRIDAY

HUNTSVILLE — A 14-year-old girl who has been missing for almost two weeks has been found safe.

Police here had requested public assistance after she was last seen Aug. 24 at 11:30 p.m.

Three days later Amelia was reported missing to the OPP.

She was last seen in the Huntsville area and was described as 5-foot-4, weighing 120 pounds, with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes, wearing dark-coloured jeans and a black Adidas jacket with a grey hoodie underneath.

Amelia was known to frequent the Orillia and Rama area.

Police thank the public for their helping locating her.
