MONCK SCHOOL’S SUPPORTIVE PRIDE SHED VANDALIZED DAYS AFTER BEING PAINTED RAINBOW COLOURS

BRACEBRIDGE — A disturbing message painted over students support of Pride Month has police investigating what they are calling “mischief” to a building at a Monck Public School in Bracebridge.

School officials at Monck Public School, on Wellington Street, called police to report that students had painted the side of their equipment shed on Friday, June 23, in rainbow colours.

And sometime over the weekend, between Friday and Sunday, unknown suspect(s) painted overtop of it with the words, ‘PLEASE LEAVE THE CHILDREN ALONE!’

Vandals wrote over Monck’s school equipment shed sometime between when it was painted Friday and when the graffiti was discovered Sunday.
