SNOWMOBILER WHO HIT PARKED CAR, AIRLIFTED TO TORONTO TRAUMA CENTRE ON SATURDAY
BRACEBRIDGE — A snowmobiler is in a Toronto hospital trauma centre after colliding with a parked car Friday at noon.
Local provincial police and the OPP Central Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team are investigating the collision that left the male driver with serious injuries Dec. 17 at 12 p.m.
Bracebridge Fire Department and Muskoka Emergency Medical Services (EMS) also attended the address on Beattie Lane in Bracebridge.
Police say a 51-year-old male from Richmond Hill was taken to hospital in critical condition and later transported by air ambulance to Toronto.
The investigation is ongoing.
