Ensemble Vivant chamber music you can enjoy Nov. 9 at OP

GRAVENHURST – Chamber music that’s accessible.

That’s Ensemble Vivant at the Gravenhurst Opera House Friday, Nov. 9, the second seasonal performance of the Muskoka Concert Association.

Fun and enjoyable are easy adjectives to describe the quintet.

But there’s more to them than that.

They’re serious musicians who know audiences need to be engaged with pieces that challenge listeners with the h ighest degree of musicianship, yet still want to tap their toes.

Enemble Vivant proves you can do both and still not feel like you’re a stuffed shirt hypocrite.

Young Bracebridge pianist Anna Bagshaw (who has been practising on the Opera House piano) is the featured youth performer. She takes the stage at 7:30 p.m., followed by Ensemble Vivant.

Join them both and hear for yourself.
