MAN ARRESTED AFTER APPROACHING WOMEN THEY SAY MADE THEM FEEL ‘UNCOMFORTABLE, SUSPICIOUS, FEARFUL’

GRAVENHURST — A 42-year-old man is in bail court this morning after women complained he approached them yesterday making them feel “uncomfortable” and “fearful.”

OPP and the Muskoka Crime Unit investigated a number of complaints from women in Gravenhurst about a man who they said had approached them — “and for a variety of reasons,” say police — made them feel “uncomfortable, suspicious and/or fearful.”

They say that on Friday May 13 officers arrested and charged David Haynes, of Gravenhurst, with Criminal Harassment CC 264(1).

Haynes was held in custody for a bail hearing May 14, 2022, in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge.
