2 injured in float plane accident Monday off Walker’s Point

MUSKOKA LAKES TWP. — Two people suffered minor physical injuries Monday night when their float plane crashed in Lake Muskoka off Walker’s Point.

A float plane (not specifically like this plane) went down Monday evening off Walker’s Point between Gravenhurst and Bala.

Provincial police reported Tuesday that the airplane collision took place July 30 at 7:45 p.m. near Bradley Road in Muskoka Lakes Township.

The two occupants were treated at the scene.

Police are assisting the Transportation Safety Board with their investigation into the factors contributing to the crash and the investigation is ongoing.

Walker’s Point is located midway between Gravenhurst and Bala.
