GRAVENHURST MAN SOUGHT AFTER INVASION, STABBING LAST NIGHT

GRAVENHURST — A man accused in a stabbing at a home here last night is being sought by police who advise the public not to approach him.

Provincial police says officers responded to a 911 call from an address on First Street South Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 9:40 p.m.

They say the caller claimed a man who had entered a residence, uninvited, instigated an argument with the residents and stabbed a visitor there.

The suspect is said to have stolen a piece of property and left the residence.

The 22-year-old victim received treatment at hospital for minor injuries and was released.

The OPP are looking for 28-year-old Rafik Doko of Gravenhurst.

Doko is described as 5-foot-8, with dark skin and short hair.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and dark hoodie.

Police caution the public not to approach Doko and to call police if he is spotted.
