BRACEBRIDGE MAN AIRLIFTED TO TORONTO AFTER HEAD-ON CRASH TODAY
MUSKOKA LAKES — A Bracebridge man was airlifted to hospital in Toronto late this morning after a head-on collision.
Provincial police says officers along with Muskoka EMS and Muskoka Lakes Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle collision on Muskoka Road 118 near Milford Bay just before 11:00 a.m.
The head-on collision left one driver trapped in their vehicle, but firefighters were able to free him.
The 19 year-old was airlifted from the scene to a Toronto area hospital with serious injuries.
The second driver escaped with minor injuries.
Muskoka Road 118 in that area is currently closed while OPP Technical Collision Investigators assist with the ongoing investigation.
