POSSIBLE DROWNING NEAR MOOSE DEER POINT FIRST NATION FRIDAY

GEORGIAN BAY — Police divers this afternoon are searching Arnolds Bay near Moose Deer Point after a report of a possible drowning.

OPP at Bracebridge say they were called at 1:10 p.m. today, July 2, after members of the public saw a man having difficulty in the water.

They say he slipped under the surface and did not resurface.

Police, along with Muskoka EMS, Moose Deer Point Fire Department and the OPP Marine Unit and Underwater Search and Recovery Unit attended and are currently searching the area for the person.
