MOTORCYCLIST WITHOUT HELMET SUFFERS LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES
BRACEBRIDGE — A local motorcyclist was airlifted to Toronto last night with life-threatening injuries after being thrown off the bike without a helmet.
Provincial police say officers responded to a single vehicle collision on Springdale Park Road in Bracebridge Saturday, May 29, at 6:40 p.m.
They say he was not been wearing a helmet and was thrown off the bike, where he was found by witnesses, who called 9-1-1.
The 33-year-old Bracebridge man was transported to hospital and further airlifted to a Toronto area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
