MULTIPLE BREAK, ENTER, THEFTS FRIDAY IN SOUTH INDUSTRIAL AREA

GRAVENHURST — Thieves were busy breaking, entering stealing in the industrial area at the south end of town here Friday.

Police are investigating multiple thefts around George Beard Lane May 21, off Muskoka Road behind the Howard Johnson hotel.

They say two suspects entered a locked and gated compound at Stevenson Plumbing and entered several vehicles, stealing a variety of tools.

A nearby business also reported the theft of two boat motors.

Police plan extra patrols in the near the Dollar Store in an attempt to reduce more criminal activity in the neighbourhood.
