HELP LIONS SALUTE HEALTHY SUMMER WITH FLAG DONATION
GRAVENHURST — As hopes are up for a healthier summer, so too are flags flying at full mast thanks to local Lions.
The club’s annual Canadian flag program is under way and the maple leafs fluttering in the breeze are a welcome return and brightening the main street.
This signature project of the service organization has been going on since the 1980s.
“We fully realize that these are still very difficult financial times for most of you so again this year we are not asking for sponsors,” says Lion Dave Durant in a release this week/
He says if you see Lions out putting up flags “give us a physically-distanced wave.”
If you need to contact them because of a damaged or missing flag, their email is [email protected].
And if you are able to and would like to support them you can do so at http://donate.gravenhurstlions.org.
