Muskoka Big Band dance Friday night in Bracebridge
BRACEBRIDGE — Remember dancing to Guy Lomabardo and his Royal Canadians?

Well, you can do the same this Friday night by dancing to Neil Barlow and the Muskoka Big Band at the Royal Canadian Legion in Bracebridge.
It’s a great summer’s night out, starting at 7:30 p.m., and a chance to get close and dance to some very familiar tunes for a couple of hours.
It’s the first annual Spring Swing Dance.
The Muskoka Big Band is a spinoff of the Muskoka Concert Band.
The 17-piece outfit is in its second year of a comeback, with many of the same players from years gone by and all of the same charts.
But with some new takes on classic big band numbers.
Tickets are only $15, with proceeds going to the Gravenhurst Bifocals Band and the MCA’s youth music bursary program.
