SECOND STRAIGHT DAY WITH NO MUSKOKA COVID CASES

Mark Clairmont | MuskokaTODAY.com

MUSKOKA — Another good day for Muskoka and no so good one for Simcoe.

As Ontario reports 538 new cases today, there were no reports of COVID-19 in Muskoka the first day of October.

That’s as it was yesterday, too.

South of here it was the same story — again — with 11 more reports around Simcoe County for the second straight day.

  • 4 Bradford-West Gwillimbury
  • 3 Barrie
  • 2 New Tecumseth
  • 1 Oro-Medonte
  • 1 Adjala-Tosorontio

Of those 4 were cited for close contact, 1 was community acquired and 6 are under investigation, says the Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit Oct. 1.

Wednesday and Thursday’s numbers from the health unit show the same totals two days in a row for Muskoka and Simcoe.
