Mark Clairmont | MuskokaTODAY.com

MUSKOKA — Two middle-aged women in Bracebridge are among the latest pandemic positive cases in Muskoka as fall begins and COVID-19 has become an almost daily crap shoot locally.

And a woman from Gravenhurst, reported last Friday, has been removed from the virus toll.

As Ontario hit another new high of 425 cases today, Sept. 21.

Simcoe Muskoka’s count also rose — to 15 — since its last public health report.

The two cases in Bracebridge are both among women 45-64.

One is an institutional outbreak.

The other is under investigation.

And the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit says in a footnote that a previous case assigned to Gravenhurst on Sept. 18 has been reassigned to another health unit.

She was aged 18-34 and her cause was under investigation.

Numbers for Sept. 21 show 15 new cases in Simcoe Muskoka, with two of them from Bracebridge.
