TALK ABOUT HOME DELIVERY — GOING TO GREAT LENGTHS

GRAVENHURST — What do you do when your home won’t stay home?
Stay at home orders were put to the test here last week, when a couple of mobile homes hit the road.
Traffic through Gravenhurst had to move aside as a pair of 60- and 70-foot mobile homes were being moved through town from between Gravenhurst and Bracebridge.
They wended their long way along local streets after coming off Hwy. 11 and were spotted stopped momentarily at the foot of Bay Street at the Segwun turnoff at the Muskoka Wharf.
A door had come ajar and was quickly shut as the four-vehicle convoy carried on to Hwy. 169 and Hwy. 400 past Parry Sound.
And where were they headed?
Espanola, said driver trailing in lit-up pickup truck; and which was confirmed by Modular Transport office in Smithville, where they said it’s a typical move.
The spokesperson told MuskokaTODAY.com that the owner of the homes was moving them to the other side of Sudbury.
