BRACEBRIDGE WOMAN CHARGED WITH DEATH THREAT IN ROAD RAGE
GRAVENHURST — A Bracebridge woman was charged yesterday with threatening death or harm, after what OPP call road rage on North Kahse Lake Road.
Provincial police report that on Monday, April 6, at 4:45 p.m. they received a 911 call.
Officers were dispatched and the victim reported that another vehicle was “driving erratically and passed the caller at a high rate of speed.”
The complainant claimed the vehicle turned around and the driver produced an edged weapon from inside her car, threatening the victim.
OPP say they located the suspect vehicle at a rest stop and investigated.
The driver, 27-year-old Sasha Wood was charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm CC 264.1(1)(a) and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose CC 88.
Wood is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 16, 2020 to answer to her charges.
