NOVA SCOTIA TO FINE FOR NOT SOCIAL DISTANCING
Nova Scotians face $1,000 fines for not social distancing under health protection act as premier Stephen McNeil announced a state of emergency Sunday morning.
And he said people can report offenders, as the country looks to be moving toward more emergency orders that will restrict rights.
This after 28 cases of the cornavirus have been identifited across the east cost province.
McNeil ordered no more than five people can congregate.
The premier also said people should designate one person to do essential grocery and pharmacy shopping.
Parks are off limits subject to prosecution for “trespassing.”
McNeil said you can walk to exercise, but not walk to socialize.
And anyone entering the province, whether by car or plane, must undergo self-isolation.
