BREAK-IN SUSPECT CAUGHT BY POLICE INSIDE GRAVENHURST HOME EARLY TODAY; BRACEBRIDGE WOMAN FACES 2 CHARGES

GRAVENHURST — An early morning break-in here today had police arrest a suspect inside the victim’s home an issuing two charges.

On Tuesday, March 3, at 4:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to a break and enter in progress at an address on Pinedale Road in Gravenhurst.

The victim reported that a woman had broken into their home through a window.

No injuries were reported.

Police arrived and located the woman still inside the residence and arrested and charged 35-year-old Emma Dupuis, of Bracebridge, with:

  • Break and Enter
  • And Fail to Comply with Release Order.

Dupuis is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on May 26, 2026.

The 4:30 a.m. break-and-enter call today led to a 911 break-in in progress police call, and for police to arrest  a Bracebridge woman inside the victim’s house in Gravenhurst and issue two charges.
