BIFOCALS BAND RETURNS TO SENIORS’ CENTRE, 2 P.M., SATURDAY FOR LIVELY SPRING CONCERT

GRAVENHURST — With spring officially here, the Gravenhurst Bifocals Concert Band welcomes the changes of season and time with an eclectic and entertaining performance this coming Saturday afternoon.

The March 28 show at 2 p.m. features a large range of musical styles from various parts of the world, will include “Evangeline, Canadian Folk Song Fantasy, Man of la Mancha, Chicago, Tales of Dundee, Russian Sailors Dance, Tenth Regiment March, and the hauntingly beautiful On a Hymnsong of Philip Bliss.

To finish the program the band presents their very own Inge Fritz, 94, playing percussion in the body-swaying, toe-tapping “More Cowbell.”

Join them to celebrate the warm return of spring.
