BRACEBRIDGE — Police are investigating a distressing incident where three young people were threatened here Saturday night.

And are looking for three eerily similar vehicles as those the OPP said were involved in a series of youth-oriented harassment cases at four fast food restaurants in the same town.

A police report today didn’t say the incidents were related.

On Saturday, February 7, at 9 p.m. the trio of young people were walking on Manitoba Street and then Monck Road in Bracebridge, when several young adults  — who police say alternated between three separate vehicles- a grey/silver sedan, a black Honda Civic and a white Lincoln SUV — began following and harassing them.

The victims described several dangerous driving manoeuvres that were made along with verbal threats.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information — in particular video surveillance footage in the area of Monck Road and Manitoba Street — is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
