GRAVENHURST — Two in one.
That’s Rotarian Harold Coffin today. Two minutes in Gull Lake’s 1 degree water to raise money for the club.
He was among 10 brave enough to “do the dip” as part of Gravenhurst’s second day of its 56th Winter Carnival Saturday.

Some, who came from as far as Mississauga to join in the water fun, took part in several events on the Muskoka Road main street and at various venues after beginning last night and continuing tomorrow at the Severn Bridge Fall Fair Grounds demolition derby at 2 p.m.
On any other winter day most people would have cuddled up inside for Valentine’s Day.
But on Family Day Weekend it was out and aboot enjoying an otherwise overcast Canadian winter day.
From Lions pancakes to doggie dashes, nail driving, log sawing, train rides, bouncy castles, curling, crafts, puddle jumping and polar bear swims it was a day to relish the outdoors.
Here’s a look at people smiling, wincing, licking and always enjoying themselves in the great Canadian way.
