BRACEBRIDGE — Big stars, big rink, big cause.

Hockey fans across Muskoka are gearing up for another unforgettable night of hockey as the Kubota North Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Game comes to the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre Arena Friday, Feb. 27, a fundraiser for the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka — formerly Family, Youth and Child Services — and originally the Muskoka Children’s Aid Society (C.A.S.)

Tickets are $25 or $10 for youth 17 and under.

See CFM’s website here to purchase them online.

Confirmed line-up Tuesday:

The memorable line-up of former Maple Leafs greats is led by head coach Wendel Clark, Team Captain Rick Vaive and ex-NHLers who all played for Toronto at one time in their career — but who also went on to great fame with other National Hockey League clubs including a Stanley Cup.

Silent auction and tickets

Part of  the game’s excitement is a Silent Auction beginning Thursday, February 19, with 100 per cent of proceeds supporting under-resourced youth served by the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka.

The auction will feature a wide variety of unique items and experiences, providing another meaningful way for the community to get involved.

The Silent Auction will be online, yes. It will live on the same website where tickets can be purchased from. (Here: https://galabid.com/cfmalumnihockey)

A limited number of general Admission tickets and VIP passes remain available.

Fans will also have the opportunity to participate in a 50/50 draw taking place during the game, with proceeds further supporting the Foundation’s programs.

“This event brings together hockey, community, and philanthropy in a truly special way,” said Dave Lyons, executive director of CFM. “We’re excited to welcome fans from across the region for what promises to be an outstanding night in Bracebridge.”
