LIGHTS OUT FOR SUSPECTED IMPAIRED DRIVER FROM BRACEBRIDGE CHARGED SATURDAY NIGHT IN HUNTSVILLE

HUNTSVILLE — A Bracebridge driver faces impaired charges after police pulled over his unlit vehicle Saturday.

On January 17 at 7:45p.m., Huntsville O.P.P. officers were on patrol on Main Street West when they observed a vehicle failing to signal its turns and had no headlights on.

Officers pulled over the vehicle and quickly suspected the driver had been drinking.

After a roadside breathalyser test, which the driver failed, he was arrested.

Adam Plavinski, 38, of Bracebridge, was charged with Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

Plavinski was released to appear February 2026 in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge.

He was also issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Police charged a 38-year-old Bracebridge man with impaired driving early Saturday night.
