DRIVER WHO HIT SNOW BANK EARLY THIS MORNING ON HWY. 11 IN GRAVENHURST CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED VEHICLE OPERATION
GRAVENHURST — A man who was walking around Hwy. 11 early this morning has been charged with impaired vehicle operation.
Police responded to a call Monday January 5, at 3:25 a.m., from a member of the public about a single vehicle collision into a snow bank on Highway 11 North in Gravenhurst.
The caller was concerned about the driver walking around on the highway, near Luigi Road.
Officers located the vehicle and subsequently arrested and charged 31-year-old Richard Peredaruk, of Sundridge, with Impaired Operation and Over 80.
Peredaruk is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on February 10, 2026.
That accident also led to a collision between a transport and tow truck in which a Windsor driver was charged.
