GRAVENHURST — You’re Invited to a ‘Magical Evening of Christmas Music!’
Join the Elderberries Choir Dec. 6-7 as the spirit of the season comes alive through song at two free-will concerts at St. James Anglican Church in Gravenhurst.
Under the inspired direction of Louise Jardine and accompanied by the playful pianist Carolyn Grant, Gravenhurst’s community choir warmly welcomes you to an “unforgettable” Christmas-themed performance celebrating joy, togetherness, and tradition.
Their program includes the reflective works of Handel’s “And the Glory of the Lord,” “Mary’s Little Boy Child” along with more cheerful selections like “Little Saint Nick,” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”
Timeless carols, local talent and a few delightful surprises.
PERFORMANCE DATES:
- Saturday, December 6th at 7:00 PM at St. James Anglican Church, Gravenhurst (their church in the country)
- Sunday, December 7th at 2:00 PM at Trinity United Church, Gravenhurst (their cathedral of sound)
Admission free will offering.
Heartfelt finale
Be sure to stay for their moving traditional closing piece, “Go Now in Peace.”
“It is more than a farewell — it’s a gentle benediction, a musical embrace that carries the spirit of goodwill into the days ahead,” they say.
So bring your family, friends, and neighbours as everyone fills the air with music and the hall with laughter, love, and light.
They can’t wait to sing with you.
