REMEMBER WHERE YOU WERE TONIGHT WHEN YOU WATCH BLUE JAYS HISTORY AT HOME TONIGHT

MUSKOKA — If (when?) the Blue Jays win tonight’s Game 6 World Series game, watch for their coveted “home run jacket” to be draped over the shoulders of one of heroes.

Greg Poole dug out his 1992 Championship jacket yesterday and like the Vlad and in gesture befitting Canada’s team he shared it with fellow Rotarian Chris Mintz for a photo-op.

No problem for Poole who had jersey underneath.

He dug out the bright blue beauty he tucked away 32 years ago when Toronto last won the Series over the Atlanta Braves.

It was in pristine shape — and even fit him.

“I’m not sure where I got it,” he said. “I think some promotion.”

Blue Jays merch is all the rage as fans wear their support on their head and sleeves.

They hope blue is their good luck charm.

He’ll be wearing it tonight for what is one of the most anticipated sports events in memorable history for anyone over or under 32.

Watching the Jays has been an absolute treat for any sports fan — baseball, hockey, football, soccer or basketball.

If you appreciate clutch hitting — first pitch homer; spectacular D-Fence and outstanding outfield snares (Addison Barger); base pick-offs; record rookie Ks (Trey Yesavage), grit (lead-off hitter tonight George Springer) team leadership (Vladimir Guerrero) and an f’n fine manager John Schneider you’ve got to enjoy this truly Fall Classic.

Then there’s Shohei Ohtani on the rubber and at the plate.

It makes you want for 18 more tiring innings.

If you can stand it.

As Eric Daly and Bruce Dart watch, good sport Greg Poole helps Chris Mintz into his vintage 1992 Blue Jays jacket.

Tonight could solidify the Blue Jays as Toronto’s true sports team — replacing the Maple Leafs and Raptors years after the Argos were once the pre-eminent autumn all-stars.

Tonight will be a tough act to follow if there is a tomorrow.

But don’t bet it.

If the crowd is the 10th player they will be potent.

They could pop the SkyDome roof off launching a scary celebration for the ages that will clear the streets of any soggy trick o’ treaters still out looking for last minute sweets.

Remember where you were tonight when the Jays next come up to bat in the World Series.

Or when you’re watching the NHL playoffs next spring.

Greg Poole dug out his 1993 Blue Jays Championship Series jacket, which remains in pristine condition. He’ll be wearing it tonight and all weekend.
