MUSKOKA — OK! Blue Jays, let’s play some big time fall ball.

Will Vladimir Guerrero Jr. or Aaron Judge be Mr. October starting at 4:08 p.m today in Game 1 of the five-game American League Division Series (ALDS) Championship at the Rogers Centre?

Vladdy has 23 HRs and the Yankees’ Judge 53.

In Muskoka baseball fever is heating up.

Among the sadly muted Cavalcade of Colour trees Blue Jays lovers stand out with shades of blue contrasting Saturday’s clear 29-degree sky.

Heather and Jim Murdock, of Parry Sound, give the thumbs up and a tip of the hat to the Blue Jays yesterday in Huntsville. They can’t wait to be tuned in this afternoon for the dinner time first pitch by the Jays’ Luis Gil at 4:08 p.m. PHOTOS Mark Clairmont MuskokaTODAY.com

Heather and Jim Murdock, of Parry Sound, were spotted yesterday coming out the Huntsville hospital after visiting a friend and sporting powder blue Jays uniform.

Heather had outfielder George Springer’s name on the back of her shoulders.

The 73-year-old says she gets so excited by “her team” that she can hardly bear to watch them.

Sunday’s clincher was a perfect example when it took Alejando Kirk’s two homers to secure the big win over Tampa Bay.

That’s why hubby Jim, 81, proudly wore Kirk’s jersey while boasting he had Guerrero’s autograph on his black hat, the one with the white T under the white leaf on it.

Then he laughed showing it was embroidered on the back edge.

It’s all in good fun.

At Bracebridge’s arena last night Annabella Terry, 9, and friend Raeanna Taylor, 10, too, wore the blue as the neighbours cheered the Jays while watching a friend’s U13 hockey practice.

Young Jays fans Annabella Terry, 9, and friend Raeanna Terry, 10, happlily sported their favourite team’s jerseys at the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre last night.

Across Parry Sound-Muskoka the fan base will be tuned in to the made-for-TV.

So hold dinner. Or get out the TV dinners and pile on the nachos.

It’s going to be a good one since 2015 when the Jays last won the American League’s East Division.

Kevin Gausman goes to the mound for the home team against Luis Gil this afternoon.

Toronto follows will follow tomorrow, Tuesday and if necessary or Friday with Shane Bieber, Trey Yesavage Chris Bassitt and Max Scherzer.

But don’t look for Jays slugger Bo Bichette, he’s been left off the series roster with the New York Yankees the team said today.

It’s the same 4:08 p.m. first pitch game start Sunday.
