WANTED MAN BARRICADED HIMSELF AFTER FORCING WAY INTO BRACEBRIDGE APARTMENT WEDNESDAY
BRACEBRIDGE — A wanted man who fled police yesterday afternoon was in bail court this morning after forcing his way into an apartment and barricading himself inside.
He was apprehended without incident.
Police spotted him around 1 p.m., September 17, on Front Street where he fled on foot.
He was soon located in a nearby apartment building where he had forced his way into an apartment and barricaded himself inside.
Officers, with the assistance of the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) maintained communication and were able to bring the male party into custody peacefully.
The 26-year-old Bracebridge man was held in custody and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge for a bail hearing on September 18, 2025.
