TEENS 13-16 INJURED IN STOLEN VEHICLE ACCIDENT AT 4:40 A.M. WEDNESDAY IN HUNTSVILLE

HUNTSVILLE Two of three teens in a major vehicle accident here overnight Wednesday were airlifted from hospital to a trauma centre.

Police say they are in serious condition in hospital after the teens, aged 13-16, were  involved in the single vehicle collision September 10 and reported at 4:40 a.m. on Aspdin Road in Huntsville.

Emergency crews found them with varying degrees of injuries.

With the assistance of Muskoka EMS the youth were taken to the hospital for treatment. Two of the youth were further transported to trauma centres via air ambulance, but their injuries were not considered life threatening.

One of the youth was treated locally and released from hospital.

This youth has been charged with possession of stolen property and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Ontario at a later date.

There are no updates on the injuries of the two youth that were transported to trauma centres.

The accident occurred on Aspdin Road early Wednesday and one youth has been charged with possession stolen property.
