OVERNIGHT BREAK-IN AT RENTAL CITY IN HUNTSVILLE NETS THIEF CASH, GIFT CARDS AND ELECTRONICS

HUNTSVILLE — A thief who cased the Rental City made away with electronics, cash and gift cards overnight Aug. 30.

Police are investigating the thefts from the Huntsville Rental City and are requesting the public’s assistance to identify suspect.

On August 30, at about 4:20 a.m., an unidentified person smashed the exterior front door window to gain entry.

While inside the business police say the suspect stole various electronics, gift certificates and cash. After reviewing security footage, the suspect can be seen canvassing the area around prior to the break and enter.

According to security footage images, the suspect appears to be Caucasian, wearing a hooded multi-coloured jacket on.

The OPP are asking anyone with information or video footage of the area to please contact them. The related occurrence number is E251175200.
