MISCHIEF, THEFT AT ANNIE WILLIAMS PARK IN BRACEBRIDGE LAST WEEKEND

BRACEBRIDGE — Police are looking for a vehicle and the driver who caused significant damage at a public park here over the weekend.

The OPP is investigating the mischief  and theft at Annie Williams Park and seeking assistance from the public.

Police believe the suspect(s) drove over items left overnight following the weekend event.

They say that between the evening of June 29 and the early morning of July 1 unknown individuals damaged several teepee poles, with one identified as missing following the second annual “See Muskoka Through Our Eyes” pow-wow.

The property had been authorized to remain on-site following the event.

Police are continuing their investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance.
