TORONTO WELSH MALE VOICE CHOIR AT UNITED CHURCH 4 P.M. ON MAY 31
GREAVENHURST — The renowned Toronto Welsh Male Voice Choir is coming to Trinity United, Gravenhurst, on May 31 for a 4 p.m. concert.
In 1996 Gwyn Roberts, founder of the choir, brought together men of Welsh heritage to adapt the spirit of Welsh choral singing to Canada.
Under the brilliant direction of William Woloschuk, the choir masterfully presents the achingly beautiful songs of the Welsh mountains and valleys.
Moreover, their repertoire extends to Canada’s multicultural heritage with four-part harmonies of folk, African spirituals, operatic arias, contemporary music and more.
Tickets are $30 at the door.
