MUSKOKA LAKES DRIVER WHO LANDED ON TENNIS COURT LANDS IN COURT FACING MULTIPLE CHARGES

MUSKOKA LAKES TWP. — A driver who landed on a tennis court at a golf course faces multiple charges.

Police arrested her after she rammed a fence at the Windermere Golf & Country Club May 17 causing significant damage to both the property and the vehicle.

On May 17, 2025, at 8:15 a.m., officers responded to reports of a single vehicle collision on Golf Avenue Road in Muskoka Lakes Township.

Before she fled the scene.

Police received calls from the public who shared information and concerns.

As a result of the investigation, police charged 32-year-old Amber Finnegan, of Muskoka Lakes Township, with:

  • Dangerous Operation;
  • Mischief over $5000;
  • Fail to Remain;
  • And a host of Highway Traffic Act offences.

Finnegan is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 8, 2025.
