‘SEASONS OF A LIFETIME,’ SENSATIONAL WEEKEND OF ELDERBERRIES CHOIR, COMMUNITY SPIRIT JUNE 7-8
GRAVENHURST — It will be a lot more than a sentimental journey for fans of The Elderberries and those concert-goers new their annual community concert weekend.
The Elderberries Choir invites you to an “unforgettable evening/afternoon of music and community spirit” at the Gravenhurst Seniors Activity Centre Saturday June 7 at 7 p.m. and Sunday June 8 at 2 p.m.
They promise a stunning repertoire that celebrates the seasons of a lifetime.
Our journey ahead is one of discovery – the possibilities begin to unfold like rays of sunshine on a cloudy day.
We lead with “O Canada” — with opportunities to innovate, connect, and grow.
SPRING (did we ever think it would come?) starts with “Sentimental Journey” and “Fields of Gold,” followed by challenges like “When I’m Sixty-Four” and “Ten Thousand Miles,” with a spark of optimism “Nine Hundred Miles” and “Wings.”
The SUMMER horizon ahead lights up with boundless possibilities with “The Happy Wanderer” and “Flying Free.”
AUTUMN arrives with “Pussy Willows, Cat-Tails” and “Bye Bye Blackbird.”
Turning obstacles into stepping stones for meaningful change, WINTER climaxes with “May The Music Never End” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”
Tickets $20 are available from choir members or at the door.
Both performances are at the Gravenhurst Seniors Activity Centre — 480 First Street North, Gravenhurst.
Mark your calendars and prepare for an inspiring performance of choral magic. Whether you’re a long-time fan of The Elderberries or new to their performances, this concert is guaranteed to be interesting and fun.
