It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Daryl Annetta Terelly (Tirelli) on March 31st, 2025.

Daryl’s warmth, laughter and boundless energy touched everyone who knew her. And her absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

She leaves behind her cherished children Derek and Meagan, as well as her beloved grandchildren Devon and Alexander. She was endlessly proud of them all.

She is also deeply mourned by her siblings Evelyn (Goldsmith) and Ross Terelly, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family who adored her.

Born in Gravenhurst on June 28, 1953, Daryl was the daughter of the late John and Winnifred Terelly (Tirelli), of Gravenhurst.

Known for her vibrant spirit, whether breaking into a spontaneous dance, sharing a hearty laugh, or standing her ground with conviction, she always marched to the beat of her own drum.

Her nickname “Daylyboo” captured her playful nature and her innate gift for bringing joy and light to every gathering.

Daryl had a deep love for life. She was an exceptional cook, a devoted animal lover and a passionate Toronto Blue Jays fan — who rarely missing a game if she could help it.

Her enthusiasm carried into her professional life as well. As a Registered Nurse she touched countless lives with her compassion and skill.

She also proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces achieving the rank of Lieutenant.

Daryl’s legacy of laughter, strength and passion for her cause will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest in peace, precious Daryl. You are forever loved and never forgotten.
