THIEF WIELDING 2 AXES SOUGHT IN EARLY MORNING THEFT IN SOUTH GRAVENHURST YESTEDAY

GRAVENHURST — A home owner called 911 early yesterday after spotting a thief carrying two axes outside their home not long after midnight.
Police are investigating the break and enter Wednesday March 5.
They say officers responded to a call from a resident on Xavier Street after the home owner resident realized that an unknown suspect was around their home, carrying two axes.
The suspect entered their garage and then their vehicles and stole a variety of items including a small quantity of cash.
Police are asking anyone in the area who may have video surveillance to look at their footage between 1-2 a.m. and call police with any helpful information.
