TWO BRACEBRIDGE DRIVERS CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED OPERATION

MUSKOKA — A pair of drivers in Bracebridge and Gravenhurst face impaired operation of their vehicles Saturday afternoon and Monday night.

On January 11, at 2:40 p.m., while officers were conducting an investigation, they had an interaction with a driver in the area of Southbank Drive in Bracebridge.

As a result of that interaction, police arrested and charged 30-year-old Brittany Gemmill, of Bracebridge, with Failure/Refusal to Provide a Breath Sample CC 320.15(1).

Gemmill is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on February 4, 2025.

And amid a snow squall warning January 13, another driver who got stuck on a road was also charged with impaired driving.

January 13, at 7:30 p.m., a member of the public called police to report concerns over the condition of a driver who had their vehicle stuck in the snow on Highway 11 South at Doe Lake Road in Gravenhurst.

Officers responded arresting and charging 36-year-old Justin Legg, of Bracebridge, with Operation while Impaired by Drug CC 320.14(1)(a).

Legg is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge February 11, 2025.

Saturday afternoon and Monday night police charged two people with impaired driving in Bracebridge and Gravenhurst.
