HUNTSVILLE GRAFFITI SUSPECT SOUGHT AFTER LAKE TREE AND GAS BAR SIGNS SPRAY PAINTED

HUNTSVILLE — Police are looking for graffiti suspect after a pair of related incidents on Hwy. 60 earlier this month on Hwy. 60.

The investigation began two weeks ago when reported and are requesting the public’s assistance to identify the individual involved.

On January 11 and 12 police were called of a person spray painted graffiti on the entrance sign of Lake Tree residence sign located on Highway 60 in the and at the Esso Gas Station nearby.

They ask that if anyone recognizes the individual to contact the Huntsville OPP detachment at 705-789-5551 or 1-888-310-1122.

Impaired driving charge yesterday

Police here also arrested an individual for impaired driving related offence after conducting a traffic stop on Main Street yesterday.

They say that on January 26 at 10:14 p.m. officers on patrol spotted a vehicle leaving a licensed establishment and observed erratic driving and a traffic stop was conducted.

The driver failed the Roadside Screening Device and was required to submit to further Breath Testing.

As a result of the investigation, Christopher Ashdown, 40, of Huntsville was charged with Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on March 4, 2025.
