CHANGE: ELDERBERRIES’ ANNUAL FESTIVE CHURCH CONCERTS THIS WEEKEND DEC. 7-8

GRAVENHURST — If it’s beginning to look like Christmas, it’s going to sound a lot like the holiday season this weekend Dec. 7-8 here at the the Anglican and United churches in Gravenhurst.

One of the most anticipated weekend concert events this month in south Muskoka is the Elderberries’ annual two-day, back-to-back carol fest.

Saturday evening at 7 p.m. the choir takes the stage where they rehearse at St. James and Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Trinity.

This year the 50-member choral group of men and women in starched white shirts will grace the chancels embracing them with A Wreath of Carols.

Director Louise Jardine has prepared a program of festive favourites past and present that will not only challenge the singers’ abilities to hit all the high, low and in between notes, but also entertain and have audience singing along joyfully to tunes the hear only at this snowy time of the year.

It’s a chance to dig out and enjoy the most wonderful time of the year without a shovel.

Admittance is a free-will offering for this priceless concert event — with a $20 value per person.

Enjoy and be happy surrounded with friends and music you love and rejoice in.

Join them for the sights and sounds of the season. Shovels available on request.
