DRUG AND CRIME CHARGES LAID AGAINST HUNTSVILLE MAN

HUNTSVILLE — A local man faces three drug and crime charges as part of an ongoing police investigation that led to his arrest here Wednesday.

The OPP and its Community Street Crime Unit arrested him as part of an on-going drug investigation.

Various illegal substances were located including suspected cocaine and cannabis.

As a result Aloundeth Khamvong, 38, of Huntsville, faces charge of:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of Cannabis for the purpose of distributing
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime

Khamvong was held for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice, Bracebridge.
