GRAVENHURST — What’s a pride of Lions?
Proud Gravenhurst Lion’s Club members who each year run up the Canadian flag on dozens of polls in the downtown to adorn their main street.
Muskoka Road has been festooned with more maple leafs than cottagers Mitch Marner and Justin Bieber could have imagined.
The club’s annual signature flag program is under way has been going on since the 1980s.
They put out the flags in late June in time for Canada Day and have spaced them out a bit more.

Any donation will be appreciated, but a sponsorship of $50 or more will be recognized on our web page, social media, and a sign board at events we conduct around town.
Funds will be used to purchase flags and poles and replace those lost due to vandalism. Any additional funds raised will be returned to the community via service projects.
