HUGE HOUSE FIRE IN GRAVENHURST THURSDAY MORNING REQUIRED MUTUAL AID

GRAVENHURST —  Firefighters from across south Muskoka are battling a large house fire this morning.

All stations from Gravenhurst were called in for a structure fire on McKenzie Street in Gravenhurst, off the Muskoka Beach Road.

Mutual aid has been requested from fire services in Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes.

The fire on McKenzie Drive, off the Muskoka Beach Road, sent huge flames shooting into the morning sky June 6. Photo GFD
The blaze happened on the northwestern end of town not far from Muskoka Beach and Taboo Resort.
