SEX ASSAULT CHARGE LAID AGAINST TINY TOWNSHIP MAN IN HUNTSVILLE

HUNTSVILLE A sexual assault charge has police asking the public for help in the case against Jarret Kennedy.

Investigators suspect that the accused uses various aliases online, including Jay and Jar, and are appealing to anyone with any information to call Huntsville OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Provincial police in Huntsville with the Muskoka Crime Unit arrested Kennedy on April 27.

The 35-year-old from Tiny Township, was charged with sexual assault, forcible confinement and assault with a weapon.

Kennedy is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 11, 2024.

Police say there is no statute of limitations on sexual offences and a report can be made to police at any time, regardless of how much time has passed. You can report a sexual assault be calling the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.
