BRACEBRIDGE MAN CHARGED WITH BREAKING WINDOW AT FAST FOOD RESTAURANT IN BRACEBRIDGE

BRACEBRIDGE — A disgruntled customer who broke a fast food window Saturday morning has been charged with mischief.

Police say they responded to a 911 call from employees at the Subway restaurant on Wellington Street near Monck Road December 16 at 10 a.m. after a patron caused damage to a window after refusing to pay for his food.

Officers located the suspect nearby and subsequently arrested and charged 34-year-old Brendon Brownlee with Mischief CC 430(1)(a).

Brownlee is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge January 23, 2024.
