LAKE OF BAYS MAN IN TORONTO HOSPITAL WITH LIFE-ALTERING INJURIES AFTER HWY. 11 ROLLOVER LAST NIGHT NORTH OF BRACEBRIDGE
BRACEBRIDGE — A 61-year-old Lake of Bays man was taken to hospital in Toronto after his vehicle rolled over late yesterday afternoon while northbound on Hwy. 11.
OPP are investigating the collision that caused significant traffic delays north of Bracebridge.
Police, paramedics and firefighters responded to reports that a single vehicle had left the roadway and rolled over just south of Stephenson Rd. 1 on Sunday at 5:40 p.m.
The lone occupant was transported to hospital and further transferred to a Toronto-area hospital with life-altering injuries.
Hwy. 11 north was closed for several hours while the OPP Technical Traffic and Collision Investigation Unit (TTCI) continued the investigation.
