GROCERY SHOPLIFTERS WALK AWAY WITH $2,000 WORTH OF GOODS FROM GRAVENHURST YIG

GRAVENHURST — Soaring food prices have police on the hunt for two shoplifting suspects who they say stole more than $2,000 worth of groceries from a food store the evening before last.

They say the men walked into Terry’s Independent Grocer Wednesday night, July 5, and walked out with black sacks full of food items.

Store video at 8 p.m. caught them leaving the YIG without paying after entering together and helping themselves to the items on the shelves.

OPP are asking the public if they can help identify the suspects.

One man is described as being bald and having a light complexion, medium build, dark polo style shirt and black pants.

The other also has a light complexion, wore an F1 ball cap and was of medium build and was wearing a grey button up shirt, light shorts and sunglasses.
