DRIVER WHO WENT OFF ROAD ON HWY. 11 LAST NIGHT CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED OPERATION
BRACEBRIDGE — A driver who went off the road last night has been charged with impaired driving.
Police charged him after investigating a single-vehicle collision on Hwy. 11 south in Bracebridge just before midnight.
Emergency services responded at 11:52 p.m. to reports that the vehicle went down a slight embankment, but the driver was not injured.
Police arrived just after midnight, arresting and charging 38-year-old Sean McKay, of Gravenhurst, with Impaired Operation CC 320.14(1)(a) and Over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b).
The accused is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Aug. 15, 2023.
